World Junior Player Profile - Taylor Chorney

Taylor Chorney is playing on the United States National Junior Team for the second time. He was also a member of the 2006 team. This year, he was selected as the captain for Team USA. In WJC play, he has one assist. Chorney is no stranger to USA Hockey. He was a member of the US gold-medal winning team at the 2005 IIHF World Under-18 Championship. In 2004, he was the captain of Team USA for the Under-18 Select Team at the Junior World Cup. Chorney played on the title team at the 2003 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament.

Chorney has 12 points for the Fighting Sioux which is second highest by a UND defenseman. He has two power play goals.
